Judith received her Complete Home Inspection report and had - "Just a quick follow up question. Can you explain to my husband and I the purpose and function of the sewage pump in the basement underneath the wet bar?"
So, after I explained it and why I mentioned it my report, she responded, "Thank you Miki! I appreciate that you answered all my questions throughout the inspection. I learned a lot and feel more confident."

During my inspection, my client and his realtor, a realtor who had never seen me do a Kansas City home inspection before, kept comparing me and my work to the home inspector who had inspected the house my client had just sold. I kept overhearing things like, "that other guy wasn't nearly this thorough", and "this is a lot different than the other inspection". Finally, near the end of my inspection, the realtor looked at me and asked, "Is there anything you don't know? You seem to know about everything. " That's very flattering. And, of course, there's bound to be something I don't know. But having done as many Kansas City home inspections as I've done, for as long as I've them, I've seen a lot.
